WELCOME TO
ASHBY IVANHOE ROAD CYCLISTS
Ashby de-la-zouch's sole Cycling Club. Our member base is a friendly group of cyclists from the local area of mixed abilities. Our weekly Sunday Social rides are well attended and enjoyed by many.
We are a British Cycling affiliated club and currently 1/4 of our club are members of our Race Team and take part in competitive cycling events being such as crit's, road races and TT's in the east midlands region. We are supported by numerous sponsors each year which has helped us host our first event as a club the 'AIRC Spring Crit' in 2024, with further events coming soon in 2025.
In addition to the Sunday rides and competitive side our members organise plenty of other rides during the week. Many of our members also do an annual long distance charity ride.

The club holds a number of events throughout the year.
Our weekly club rides cater for different abilities, all starting from the Bluestone Fitness, Smisby Road, LE65 2UG.
The main event of our week are the Sunday Social rides. All our rides are arranged by Jonny and for those that would like to try us out before joining, please let us know using the email address on our contact page.
For 'beginners'/newcomers or people who don't know if group riding is for them, we have our Sunday Social. Please get in touch if you're not sure which ride is for you.
